Day TwentythreeMileage- zilch How nice it is to be back in my parent's home. There is that automatic comfort, recognition, approval. It's family. It's Dick and Marge. Some of you might have actually been to a Dick 'n Marge Party in your life. They have been going on for years in both Indianapolis and San Francisco. And if you still have a Dick n' Marge t-shirt, well, you are lucky! I love coming home, but the only difficulty is arranging enough time to see all the family and friends. I won't have the time to really see much of the city (no museums or theatre or music), but will spend the time connecting with others. So, the day was spent with out much interesting to others, I don't think, just hanging out with Mom. Dad was at work selling Outhouses. No, not THOSE, those barn-type structures that are in some backyards to store all their stuff. Those in CA will not understand some of this idea, the idea of a backyard with room for one of these things is somewhat foreign. I visited with my brother Dan's family (wife Beth, kids Sarah, Abby and Tom), briefly saw my sister Ellen and one of her daughters, Lisa, came back for diner with Mom and Dad, then off to my friend's Brad and Julie's house for a bonfire and s'mores (were you in Boy or Girl Scouts? remember S'mores? Mmm, mmm good!). They live outside of Indianapolis (way outside) in the country where there are zillions of stars and gravel roads. It is always a good time exchanging stories and reminiscing. Just good to relax. I haven't had enough of that lately (just kidding). See ya. . .
